Reproductive rights network is 30 years old

Congratulations from Population Matters to the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights!

2014 is a very special year for WGNRR as it celebrates 30 years of advancing and defending sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. Since its inception in 1984 at the 4th International Women and Health Meeting, WGNRR continues to play a critical role in ensuring that global civil society efforts are informed by local and national SRHR priorities and in bringing global SRHR perspective to national and regional advocacy and campaigning.

WGNRR is very proud that over the years it has built a network of 1000 members from 85 countries, facilitated creation of strategic partnerships among members and allies, supported global community of activists by building knowledge, developing capacity and strengthening advocacy and campaigning efforts on critical SRHR and justice issues.
