Meet us in Paris in December

From 5 to 12 December, a series of public events will be held in Paris to help focus attention on global warming while the United Nations Conference on Climate Change is taking place in the city.

We will be involved in a number of the events in order to help increase awareness of the many negative effects that population growth has on the environment.

On 5 and 6 December in the Paris suburb of Montreuil, population concern organisations from around the world will run stands at the World Village of Alternatives.

From 7 to 11 December, the arts venue Espace 104 will be entirely dedicated to exhibitions and performances related to climate change.

On 12 December, the last day of the Conference, people from around the world will take to the streets of Paris to show policymakers that they will be held accountable for their plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Population growth is seldom mentioned in the media as a cause of climate change — our presence at the events will help to make more people aware of the links between the two.

Please register if you would like to join us at any of the events so we’ll know how many people to expect and be able to keep you updated.

Feel free to contact us if you would like any additional information.
