On 30 November, the two-week-long United Nations Conference on Climate Change will begin in Paris.
On 29 November, we will be participating in the People’s Climate March in London as part of the action/2015 bloc in order to point out to policymakers who will be attending the Conference — and members of the public — that population growth seriously hinders efforts to minimize global warming.
Employing alternative energy technologies and limiting consumption can be very helpful, but if population growth is not addressed, global warming will be virtually impossible to curb because such growth increases demand for natural resources and thus results in additional environmental degradation.
Please join us in participating in the March. We will meet at 12 PM at Park Lane next to Hyde Park Corner and then move off at 1 PM. We will proceed through Central London and finish with a star-studded rally on Millbank outside Westminster at approximately 3:45 PM.
Please register if you will be joining us so we’ll know how many people to expect and be able to keep you updated.
Feel free to contact us if you would like any additional information.
