Are you an experienced campaigner? Worked on some tough issues? This is a new role for the right person.

Population Matters, launched 25 years ago, has as its current focus the education of the general public and civil society in order to create the necessary grassroots support and actions for effective political engagement. It’s not an easy subject and you would need to be fully supportive of the organization and its messages. But we want someone who can devise, develop and execute campaigns, projects and ideas that will help us drive home those messages to make a difference. There’s not much money and a small staff of (paid) interns for whom you would be responsible. Like a challenge? We’ve got one for the right person.

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful campaigns
  • Experience of working on ‘tough’ subjects
  • Good project planning skills from objectives to evaluation
  • People management skills

Additional information:

  • Population Matters minimises overheads by not having an office; everyone works from home. However, meetings take place in London and this role holder would be required to travel to London — or anywhere else — when required.
